The National America Recycles Day 2012 was November 15, 2012. America Recycles Day focuses on the importance of recycling and buying products made with recycled content. By completing an online pledge, Floridians committed to being better stewards of the environment.

Florida Students

Keep America Beautiful hosted Recycle-Bowl, the first comprehensive nationwide recycling competition for elementary, middle and high-school students. Recycle-Bowl was designed to provide students with a fun, interactive way to learn about waste reduction and environmental responsibility through in-school recycling.
