TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP)
Office of Greenways and Trails (OGT) announces that the temporary drawdown of
the Rodman Reservoir in Putnam and Marion counties is being postponed until the
fall of next year, 2011, as it has been determined a drawdown is not needed at
this time.
OGT will continue to work with the St. Johns River Water Management District
to determine the best strategies regarding future management of the entire
ecosystem.
